BB n Foundation review

Let me think back of some BBcream and foundie I've used. I have combination skin, bit oily on T Zone..rarely has acne.. but do apologize I have no before after photo.. 

Ok, I'd used :

1. Etude House Precious Mineral BB Dation SPF 40

Here's the description:

BBdation, a new revolutionary face make-up product that combines the perfect seamless fitting of BB Cream and luminous coverage of Foundation, its formula contains mineral powder coated with Hydro Essence Gel that nourishes and brightens complexion. Application of this makeup makes skin appear healthier, smoother, and dramatically refined

Love the SPF 40. The texture is quite runny, I only apply with finger not stippling brush. Product coverage and oil control is better compared to Skinfood Aloe. It doesn't oxidize in my face. Sadly....it stings..so I only use it for about 1 wk 

2. Skinfood Aloe Sun BB Crm

Here's product description:

An excellent soothing treatment with UV protection (SPF20 PA++), it especially suits people with sensitive skin. This cream leaves skin feeling moisturized while it corrects skin tone for a naturally air-brushed complexion.

Texture is a bit thick, it gives more dewy look than matte. Application with hand , no stippling brush (didn't have stippling brush yet..hahaaa)

Light coverage, oxidize and poor oil control..although I set it with loose powder on top of it (3W clinnic loose powder) in only 2 hrs I already need to blot... So, IMO it doesn't suitable for combi or oily skin type.

3. Max Factor Allday Flawless

• The foundation primes the skin with a flexi-hold technology that creates a strong yet lightweight film that sits comfortably on the skin. 
• Micro-correctors within the formula operate like little mechanics to defend against external influencers like sweat and sebum, correcting and maintaining the look over time whilst preventing shine. 
• The foundation formula with SPF20 delivers an all day high coverage, matte finish thanks to the oil absorbency of particles which helps to minimise the level of non-volatiles on the skin surface.

This product claims to be 3 in 1 (primer, foundie and concealer all in 1)..it also has SPF 20. Sofar , I like this better than the previous 2 BB cream. It sets to a mate finish in my face. This is applied always with stippling brush ...hahaaa...just bought that stippling brush.

Texture is runny, blends easily, gives medium coverage, medium oil control (more than 3 hrs I need no blotting paper).. I also sets with loose powder , lately I use SK II loose powder.

Color option is limited to only 6 shades...well luckily Nude is quite ok for my yellowish skintone.

Price is very affordable too, Rp.110rb for about 30ml foundie.

4. Rachel K CC Cream

I've heard rave about this product and put high hope on this product that I willing to order from abroad via Luxola.com...price around Rp.270rb

Here is some product desription:

Combines various benefits all in one – colour control, oil control, whitening, brightening and moisturising, and UV protection with SPF 35 PA++. It enhances the complexion by improving its texture, balances skin tone giving you fresh, glowing and radiant skin

Very excited when this product arrives...yippie.. can hardly wait to try. 

The next day, I put it on to work. I find it's texture a bit thick. I apply with my stippling brush..It gives  me powdery finish indeed. 

I also set this with SK II loose powder.. and find it oxidise already in midday.. geeee... I look sooo greeeeyyy... what a pittty it's a full size product I bought... hiikss hikkss...

It's my 3rd day using it...and I begin to think Maxfactor has better oil control than this CC cream :( 

Well .. from those 4 product, I prefer Maxfactor foundie...

Since I still have 2 full size foundation , I need to stop buying new foundie and be satisfied to finish them first...:)

Skincare Revolution

Hii...this is my first post, as blogger. I'm a working mom of one handsome boy...and my miles is approaching 40 this year. I didn't give much attention on skin care since I'm lucky enough to have calm skin....my skincare  regime is very basic, cleanser, mositurizer..no toner or routine serum applied on my face. Not loyal to any brand, I switch brand ...hahaaa.... Sometimes I give light peeling , but rarely went to a facial treatment.

Last year I was really knocked down , it was a rough year due to domestic problem. What comes with problem is Strees indeed.....it had really drained my energy....and yupp..high stress effected my skin condition..Closing the year 2012 , I notice fine lines in my side cheeks and also light crowfeet under both eyes..my fault I was so lazy using eye cream :( therefore I decided I need revolution in my skincare regime.

At the edge of 40ys I decided to buy product of already welknown brand.. I don't think I still have time trying this and that of mediocre brand...therefore I decided to use SK II skincare range. I had used their essence once and it did good but back then I was no loyalist to any brand.

To make long story short, today I use complete regime of SKII...well a bit time consuming actually. I have to double cleansing.. put on toner..FTE..serum..and finally moisturizer. So far I feel my skin is plumper and softer..did experience purging but just in short time.

As for make up .. again I'm a swinger..not loyal to any brand..still looking for good foundation now. But for makeup I'm more thrifty..won't spend millions like for skincare regime.

If I have time.. I'll review my quest for HG foundation in this blog..well... if I have time.
